Trans Thailand Malaysia 3 & 4

In early 2004 Saipem awarded CPC the pipe transportation contract to deliver 21,767 joints (363,089 tons) of 34 inch concrete pipes from Kuantan to alongside Saipem's pipelay barge "Semac 1" in the Gulf of Thailand. CPC chartered four conventional multi purpose vessels of 4,100TDW and converted them for offshore delivery. Using CPC pioneered "WPDS (Winch Powered Docking System)" and "Diamond Stowage" a total of 93 voyages and dockings alongside "Semac 1" were completed between March to June 2004 with no LTIs.
