Sontatrach Oil Offloading Project - FMC SOFEC

On the 4th of July 2004, FMC Sofec through C-Mar contracted CPC to deliver 3,128 joints (56,143 tons) of 42 inch concrete pipes from Dunkirk, France to three sites off the Algerian coast line alongside Global's pipelay bare the "Iroquois". CPC chartered and converted five conventional vessels for offshore pipe delivery. A total of 15 voyages from Dunkirk through the Bay of Bisque to alongside the laybarge was completed with no damages to the pipes and no time lost due to the supply of pipes.
