Qatif Berri Project - Saudi Arabia

The project was carried out in two phases, the first phase being Qatif. The delivery of approximately 517 concrete-coated and uncoated pipe joints of 16” diameter to the Laybarge DLB332 situated in the Qatif offshore field.

Pipe joints were transported by truck from the Saudi Aramco Pipe Storage Yard in Tanajib to the wharf area of the Tanajib jetty and loaded onto barges. A combination of two 280ft barges with 3750BHP tow tugs were assigned to the project completed in 2007.

The second phase being Berri entails the delivery of approximately 3,537 12”, 16” and 30” concrete-coated and uncoated pipe joints to the laybarges DLB332 and DLB264 situated at various locations within the Berri offshore field.
